Cell Phones, do you really want to be available all the time?

Do you really want to be available for anyone and everyone on a 24/7 basis?  What do I mean?  A famous person once said that the more available you make yourself; the more available everyone will expect you to be. People will actually be annoyed if you are not instantly and constantly available rather than being pleased when you do call.
Cell phone calls follow you everywhere you are including your bathroom.  Even during nighttime when you want to rest, cell phones continue to ring and annoy you.  If it is important, no problem but if it is very menial, why you need to be bothered so late?

Today in this modern society, we live in and the proliferation of cell phones we see people talking anywhere and everywhere.  If used for business, this may prove to be very effective and worthy.  However, for very menial issues being bothered in your sleep and even during your bathroom time may be quite annoying if not outright disgusting.  However, if you make yourself available all the time, you created your own nightmare.

Cell phone etiquette is getting to be a forgotten concept.  You will see people talking on the phone loudly and disturb people nearby in restaurants and even in offices. In a meeting you will have noticed that when a cell phone rings, almost everyone around will immediately look for their cell phones.  If you were the one talking, and then the person in front of you talks on his phone, how would you feel?  I am sure you will feel belittled and ignored.  Rude practice, and it should be changed.

It may help people who use cell phones to follow a certain degree of etiquette with respect to the use of cell phones.

When you are in a place of worship, it may be necessary to leave your cell phone in the house or at least turn it off if you do not want to be away from it.  This is because a ringing cell phone will not just disturb you while you pray, it will also disturb others.  You do not need to show off your expensive gadget in a place of worship.

During meetings, please turn off your cell phone; it is rude to have your phone ringing while somebody speaks. However, if you are waiting for a terribly important call, you may use the vibrate mode of your cell phone to alert you when the call is in-coming, and you should leave the meeting to answer it.
You may also inform the possible caller that you are in a meeting and that you cannot be disturbed.

Cell phones have become a necessity nowadays, that is why most people use them.Cell phone manufacturers have continuously developed different usage and functions for this very small gadget. Be globally competitive, but you should understand that being rude is not part of modernity.

Commdeck Satellite and Antenna Pre-Wire Mounting Systems Used by Many of Top 50 Builders in U.S.

Eau Claire, WI (PRWEB) January 17, 2007

Major Builders are now incorporating Commdeck (http://www.rstcenterprises.com) into their construction process. Builders and Developers discovered that 50% of new home owners are subscribing to satellite service within one year of closing on their new home even in areas where cable service is available. A further push to use these systems came from management companies working for builders. Builders and Home Owners Associations (HOA) continued to discover property damage and aesthetic issues resulting from current dish and antenna installation methods. Commdeck and Commtile (designed for tile roofs) have since become the products of choice to resolve these issues and have now allowed builders and HOAs to successfully prewire and plan for satellite in every home. Developers can organize and control the dish and antenna locations while protecting their customer’s investment and eliminating unsightly coaxial cables on the exterior of buildings. Commdeck and Commtile are delivering these benefits to the building industry in a way never before available.

DirecTV, Echostar and Wild Blue Industries have also recognized the value of these systems and have approved the mounting of their equipment on the Commdeck systems. Commdeck and Commtile are weathertight, leak proof, and formed from 18 and 16 gauge steel that serve as both an enclosure for the coaxial cables and a mount. Designed to withstand windloads in excess of 100MPH, both systems are powdercoated to surpass industry specifications. A simple installation process, Commdeck and Commtile install and look like common roof vents. These seamless mounting platforms are inexpensive and dishes can be easily installed and removed at any time. Steve Capozzi President of RSTC Enterprises/Commdeck said, Now, Builders, Developers, Home Owners Associations and Home Owners can control the installation of dishes, appearance of the property and protect their investment from lag bolt damage with one simple affordable system.

Along with builders and developers, Commdeck targets quality custom installers, low voltage contractors and the integrator markets through their normal marketing. Both products are ideal for pre-wire installations and come with a complete hardware package and installation instructions.

Ron Dickerson, Vice President of RSTC Enterprises/Commdeck said Our company continues to grow and we are very please to have our products approved and installed by many of the top 50 builders including, Centex Homes, K Hovnanian, Lennar, Pasquinelli and Rottlund, along with many others. We are now seeing our mounting systems become a standard throughout the country. Commdeck products will last the life of a home and roof warranties, including workmanship, remain in tact. It only makes sense for builders and installers to offer this product line as an attractive and sensible addition to a home. For installers, Commdeck offers an easy add-on opportunity to every installation. One of our marketing initiatives is to provide installers with additional products that will benefit their customers and add dollars to their sales with every installation.

Katie Stuemke, Operations Administrator for K Hovnanian Homes, a publicly held development company with over 3,000 employees across the country said Commdeck is installed on our single family homes in the prewiring phase as the homes are being built. We did some research and had our property management personal do more research and we found that Commdeck was the solution to our satellite installation issues. These issues included not voiding the roofing warrantees, water intrusion problems and grounding issues that we were dealing with. Commdeck is the only answer weve found that will solve all of these problems.

In addition to Commdeck and Commtile, RSTC is marketing several other unique mounting kits. Retrodeck, is used to remount a dish or antenna when re-roofing homes or for new installations and is easy to install and remove without damage. No cutting of shingles is necessary. Deckadaptor is the Antenna mounting kit designed to support a standard 1 1/4-1 1/2 Off-Air antenna mast when mounting to a Commdeck, Commtile or Retrodeck system. The antenna mast slides into the Deckadapter for easy application, providing a damage free installation and removal, eliminating the need for a tri-pod.

Their newest mounting system is Decklock, another dish or antenna mounting solution for decks. Its unique design allows a dish or antenna to securely clamp to the rim joist on any type of wood or composite decking material with no damage due to lag bolts. All of the Commdeck products will be on display at the upcoming International Homebuilders Show in Orlando, February 7-10 in booth S11573.

3DMedia Software Lets Consumers Create, Edit, and Share 3D Pictures

Research Triangle Park, NC (PRWEB) May 07, 2012

3DMedia Corporation today released a major update of 3DComposer, a PC software product which allows users to create, view, edit, and share 3D pictures. 3DComposer version 3 includes 3DMedias patent-pending technology that lets users easily make 3D photos using any digital camera. These 3D photos can be viewed on 3D-capable displays such as computer monitors, TVs, and mobile devices.

The new software version builds on 3DMedias vision of a seamless ecosystem in which users can capture, create, share, and enjoy high-quality 3D content. 3DComposer version 3 contains significant new features and enhancements. A 3D photo editor is now integrated that allows users to adjust and improve 3D pictures created with 3DComposer as well as those taken with 3D cameras and 3D cell phones. Users can adjust the depth and color of their 3D pictures and easily crop them to the desired size, for example to match the resolution of the desired display screen. There is also a substantial new feature that automatically optimizes the 3D effect of pictures taken with 3D cameras, based on 3DMedias proprietary image processing algorithms. A major differentiator is that editing can be performed while viewing the picture in 3D, so users get instant feedback on all changes. Users can easily undo and redo edits to understand and compare the differences in order to create a better 3D photography experience.

The software also includes several new features that make it easy for users to share 3D pictures. Users can upload their pictures directly from 3DComposer to 3DMedias online 3D Photo Gallery, and they can view their gallery photos as slideshows using the included 3D viewer. 3DMedias 3D Photo Gallery contains thousands of 3D photographs that can be viewed by the public, making it an excellent resource for those in need of high-quality 3D content.

The version 3 software supports additional 3D viewing modes, making it compatible with more 3D computer monitors and 3D TVs. The user interface has also been streamlined, making it easier than ever to access all the program features. “This major update of our 3D photography software now makes it easy to create, edit, and share 3D pictures, which we believe will further inspire consumers to make their own 3D content, and will ultimately help the broader proliferation of 3D products and technologies,” said Jason Hurst, General Manager of PC Products at 3DMedia. 3D camera owners can also use our software to work with their 3D pictures.

The full version of 3DComposer is priced at $ 34.95. The 3D creation and editing features can also be purchased separately if desired. The Editor license is priced at $ 19.95, and the Creator license which allows users to create 3D pictures using standard cameras and cell phones is also priced at $ 19.95. A free trial of the 3DComposer software can be downloaded at 3dcomposer.com.

Sean Alisea Confirms Report that Hiking Sparks Creativity

Santa Barbara, CA (PRWEB) May 07, 2012

In this Digital Age, information is never far from our fingertips. Indeed, most of us are constantly inundated by the effects of smart phones, computers, and cellular devices.

According to a new study from the University of Kansas, however, the effects of these gadgets are not always positive. In fact, this constant barrage of information can actually rob us of our creative inspiration, the study finds; something as simple as a nature hike can leave us refreshed and rejuvenated, however. This new study has garnered the affirmation of many notable outdoor enthusiasts, among them Santa Barbaras Sean Alisea.

Indeed, as a proponent both of hiking and of calming meditation techniques, Sean Alisea finds much to praise in the new report. The pressure, pace and noise of modern life creates in us a constant struggle against our primitive fight-or-flight response, Alisea says in a press statement. Aside from meditation, which I also highly recommend, I believe that the primary way to re-connect with one’s spirit is to commune with nature. Hiking, besides keeping you extremely fit, affords you the space and solitude you need to feel at peace with your world.

That hiking offers many physical benefits is hardly a surprise, but the new University of Kansas study affirms that, as Sean Alisea notes, the benefits are also spiritual and psychological. In fact, the reports central finding is that a few days in the wilderness, surrounded by nature but away from the pull of the cell phone, can increase creativity by as much as 50%.

The research is presented in the current edition of Backpacker magazine, and suggests that the effects of hiking on the human body and mind are profound, and almost unclassifiable. Hiking and spending time in nature, the report says, are ultimately beneficial for offering refuge from the cacophony of all of this information that simulates alarms, warnings and emergencies.

Expanding on this point, the report notes that constantly being surrounded by technology makes one feel constantly surrounded by threats or stress-inducing factors. This ultimately saps the human mind of its ability to have fun or think creatively.

Spending several days in nature, apart from digital technology, is ideal, the report says. Indeed, the creative spark offered by a nature hike peaks after about three days of really getting away, turning off the [cell phone], not hauling the iPad and not looking for Internet coverage, the study suggests. An extended period of time, alone in nature, is said to offer numerous positive effects, both for the human body and for the mind.

About::

Sean Alisea is an outspoken advocate for outdoor fun and adventure, as well as for meditation. He lives and works in Santa Barbara, California, and is a tutor at the Santa Barbara School of Squash, an educational outreach program aimed at urban youth. Alisea is also an avid outdoor recreation enthusiast, and is vocal in his love for hiking, backpacking, and scuba diving. His passion is for sharing his love of these activities with others.
